Session Description
Climate change is the biggest global health threat of the 21st century, yet the health care industry accounts for more carbon emissions than aviation, with the United States contributing 27% of health care emissions despite only having 4% of the world’s population. It logically follows that U.S. health care is an excellent target for our efforts to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
