Maya Oaks, MSSW, MPH is the Director, Reproductive Health Programs at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), where she directs and oversees an array of programs and initiatives related to abortion, contraception, and pregnancy loss. Ms. Oaks has over a decade of experience in program management, training, technical assistance, and leadership development, including with the Annie E. Casey Foundation and the U.S Department of Health and Human Services. Maya previously served on the Board of Directors of DC Abortion Fund and is currently working towards her DrPH degree at Johns Hopkins. Maya received her MPH from Johns Hopkins, her MS in Social Work from Columbia University and her BA in History of Science and Medicine at Stanford University.
