Dr. Edwardson is an Assistant Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She serves as the Assistant Program Director for the GYN/OB residency program and as the Medical Director of Johns Hopkins Women's Services at Bayview. She directs the JHU Global Health Leadership Program, which provides international clinical opportunities for medical, nursing, and public health students. She completed her undergraduate education at Brown University, medical school at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, master of public health degree at UCLA, and residency training at the Johns Hopkins University. Her professional interests include quality improvement in outpatient obstetrics care, residency and medical student curriculum development, and training to improve maternal health in resource-limited settings.
