Short Session Description
Universal screening for hepatitis B and C is recommended during each pregnancy. However, many pregnant people are not screened for hepatitis C. Furthermore, prenatal visits are a missed opportunity for hepatitis B vaccination and treatment. This session will cover what obstetricians need to know about laboratory results, vaccines, antivirals, and the management of these conditions in the perinatal period.
