Michele Bratcher Goodwin is award-winning author, advocate, and professor. A trailblazer in the health law field, Goodwin is a Chancellor’s Professor at the University of California, Irvine School of Law and founding director of the Center for Biotechnology and Global Health Policy. She has served on the executive committee of the ACLU and is the author of several books, including Policing the Womb: Invisible Women and the Criminalization of Motherhood.
